Check-in Attributions

Check-in Attributions

If one spouse checks in a child, does the other spouse or household receive the check-in attribution?

No. Check-in attribution is only assigned to the individual who performed the check-in and the specific child who was checked in.

How check-in attribution works

When a child is checked in, the system records attribution in a one-to-one relationship:

  • The staff member or user who completed the check-in receives the attribution
  • The child who was checked in is linked to that activity
  • No additional attribution is applied to other household members, including spouses or guardians

What this means for households

Even if multiple family members are associated with a household, check-in activity is not shared across the entire household profile. Each check-in event is tied only to the person who physically or digitally completed the action. If there seems to be a missing check in attribution, to dig further, click on the other household members within the person's profile to see if they are receiving the check in. That will help you determine whether to reach out with a touchpoint.

Summary

Check-in attribution is intentionally specific to ensure accurate tracking of:

  • Who performed the check-in
  • Which child was checked in

Other household members will not receive attribution for that check-in event.
